Split out the entire hoops day, not much to say about those games. Minn/Dal scored 100+ in the 1H, and didn't come close to that in the 2nd half. Chi/Mem had about 50 points with 8 minutes left in the half, then for the next 8 minutes they scored almost 50. That scoring continued into the 2H, so not much to say.

As for the NFL, I bet on a rookie QB going against Aaron Rodgers. Shame on me, as once again Rodgers showed how great he truly is. When it comes to throwing the football, I don't know if there are many QBs in the history of the game as good as he is. It comes off his hand so pure, it is just beautiful to watch. Not only can he make every throw in the book, he can do so in any situation. Just look at how many times he throws off the back foot, off the wrong foot, on the run, rolling to his right, or rolling to his left. That throw he made to put them in game winning FG position is a throw only a handful of QBs could make. Rolling to the opposite side, under pressure, on the run he throws a 35 yd dart to the sideline right on the money. He made several throws today that were incredible.

I did have a good read on the late game, finally hitting one.  A low scoring, hard hitting game that was never in doubt for the under.  That is my kind of game.  I love cold weather, hard hitting football. I grew up watching that in the 70's, many classic playoff games played in the cold.  Just something about seeing the cold air coming out of the players facemasks.

A small losing week after a promising start.  The difference was the 4 unit swing with the Texans and that gawd awful NHL Saturday night. If Winnipeg holds on and Houston doesn't give away that cover, that is about a 6.8 unit swing. We sure didn't catch a break with that Under Saturday night either. Turns a small loss into a 6 or 8 unit win for the week. Sometimes thats all it takes. This week we couldn't catch a break with those games, at some point we will.

For those that followed every game, don't get discouraged.  A break or 2 gets us a very nice week. If you followed just the NCAAB you had a solid week. The NBA was pretty flat this week, that does happen and I'm not worried about it at all. The NHL was not good, no getting around that.  The NFL a disappointment with the tough Saturday night loss.

Tomorrow starts a new week.  I'll have everything posted early, there are some games that start around 9am PST so I'll get up early and get those out if we have any plays in those games.  Thanks so much to everyone that took the time to visit this week. I'll see you tomorrow.
