Before I get to the recap, I want to welcome those folks that are new to my site. If you want to know more about what I do, I have a background post on the right side of the page for your review.

I keep it pretty simple.  I post the plays and let the results speak for themselves. No cute buzzwords. Locks, Inside Information or Sources, 50* specials, Vegas, etc... The usual promotional jargon. I let the record speak, nothing else really matters.

Just another fantastic night, I hope you folks were on board for all of the plays today. I added the 2 plays in the SA/LAC game this morning, I hope you checked back and got them.

8-2 on the heels of a 6-1 the night before makes us 14-3 over the last 2 days. The NCAA continues to be phenomenal. Let's keep it rolling.

  1. How can one pass on Cleveland? By the time LBJ was ruled out, the line dropped to 5.5. No way of getting off that line pregame. Nice day otherwise. Great week.

  2. It went to -6 which set up a 3.5 point middle. James was questionable before the game, and I should have noted that in my comments. I didn't play the game until his status was known, so I just passed it. Those that weren't aware of the questionable status were stuck with a bad line, or had to get off of it with a 3.5 point middle. That is completely 100% my responsibility.

I still would have done the middle. Cleveland was 4-18 SU without James and a good bet to lose straight up. Risky on its face? Absolutely with the 3.5 middle. Risky looking at how awful Cleveland is historically without James? Not as much. Again, I can't expect everyone to know that. That falls on me too.

Going forward, I'll be more aware of things like this. I can't assume everyone is aware of the status of players, even superstars like James. I'll grade it as a 1U loss, I'll split the difference.

Also, I am notified immediately via email whenever anyone leaves a comment. If anybody has a question about a play or situation, please feel free to notify me.

Chuck, I appreciate the comment about the line move as well as the kind words about this week. I hope you've had a profitable week.
