This Week: 23-11 (+11.2)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just another outstanding night on the NBA hardwood, we went 7-3 to put us at 23-11 for the week good for 11.2 units.......and we started the week 0-4. The combined NCAA/NBA has been phenomenal, one of my better overall years. Its up 56 units and that is with the 15 unit loss in the NCAA post season. The NBA has really picked up, starting out a little flat and then the last couple months really getting good. Similar to last year.

I know some people aren't comfortable playing a high volume of games, it puts a chunk of bankroll in play most days. However, you don't need to hit high win percentages to make a very nice profit. Take our NBA for example. We are up 30 units. If you played 100 games, you would need to go 67-33 to win 30 units. Thats 67%, do you have any idea how difficult that would be?? How about 300 games?  172-128 is 31.2 units good for 57.3%. What if you played 500 games?? You would have to go 276-224.  That is 55.2%.

We have played 712 games, going 383-329 for 53.7%. On its face that doesn't sound very good. Now, we have hit a few 2U plays along the way.  The point being that contrary to what a lot of people think.......that playing a lot of games is a bad idea.......that line of thinking couldn't be farther from the truth. My win percentage is actually low for what I usually do, yet I still have won a nice profit on the year. As long as you take care of your bankroll, playing a high volume of games is a good thing. You know what is a bad thing?  Losing more than winning, and that goes for those playing 50 games, 200 games, or 700 games. The idea is to pick more winners than losers, and if you can do that then the more games you play the better. Its just basic math.

Oregon and the UNDER popped up as a play for the Final Four.  Its not an official play, my post season has been awful and I'm not playing any more NCAA. I'll take the nice profits we've won and bank it. My NBA plays haven't appeared on my database yet, so I will post those either later tonight or early in the morning.

I hope you all are enjoying this winning streak and making some good money. I get a little boastful on my thread in site promotions, but thats just to get a little exposure and to try to get people to come over to the site and join us. I fully understand how good we are running right now and appreciate the good times. I'll be back later with the Saturday NBA slate.

                                          NBA
Orlando +3.5: (35-13, 6-3) Up To 3.5. 4 or more is a PASS
Orlando/Brooklyn UNDER 222: (35-11, 9-1)
Los Angeles Lakers +15: (75-35, 4-4)

The UNDER play is 10-0 when the opponent is on a BTB. Looks like a very nice play.

10AM ADD ON:
Atlanta/Chicago 1H UNDER 97: (59-17, 2-2)

I meant to put UNDER, not OVER on the Oregon game.  Oregon +5 and UNDER 153 are the plays that popped up if you are interested.

Light night, just the 3 games. Enjoy your Saturday.

A nice winner on that UNDER in Chicago, a game that really was never in doubt. The NBA has been fantastic, tonight looks like a big card so let's get to it.

                                      NBA
San Antonio -2.5: (78-42, 21-17)
Sacramento +11.5: (74-34, 3-3)
New York +10.5: (44-11, 2-2) (74-34, 3-3)
Utah -3: (38-16, 2-1) -3 MAX, PASS at -3.5 or higher
Washington/Utah UNDER 206.5: (77-28, 3-3) (57-29, 13-11)
Boston -11: (32-9, 11-3)
Orlando/Boston OVER 217: (30-13, 8-6)
Indiana/Toronto OVER 204.5: (40-20, 4-7) (31-13, 5-3)
Philadelphia/Cleceland OVER 216.5: (34-16, 2-2)
Dalas/Memphis OVER 191: (89-39, 12-8)

Everything 1U, but if I had to grade them Boston looks solid. Several of these angles have performed flat this year, but they have been very good long term so lets see how they do collectively tonight. If we can get 6 out of the 10 that would be just fine.

Baseball starts this week, I'm looking forward to another great year. I have a post on the baseball season detailing everything you need to know. I highly recommend that you read it, baseball is a fantastic sport to wager on.

Have a great day, good luck with your action, and I'll see you all later tonight with a recap of today's action.

BIZ Baseball 2017 Preview - PLEASE READ

OK folks, its time for baseball. The 2017 season kicks off next week and I will have you covered from the 1st pitch all the way through the post season. I handicap baseball the same way as I do every sport, playing teams in situations that have historically shown a profit. Here is the link to my thread I posted daily in the Baseball Forum at the RX (copy and paste the link into your browser).

http://www.therxforum.com/showthread.php?t=1050232

I had a solid winning season. The year started off miserably, down 30+ units thru May. However, from June 4 through the end of the season I picked up 59 units putting us squarely in the black. A solid and profitable season. I play a lot of games, last year I posted 867 plays. Now you may think thats nuts, but if you break it down over 6 months its about an average of 5 plays per day. Some days more, some less.  I urge you to check out last year's thread, and read the various comments I make throughout the year to get a good feel for how we go about it.

One thing that is of utmost importance is bankroll management. If you follow my advice, you will have a profitable baseball season. You will notice we play plenty of dogs and will be betting against heavy favorites. Many people can't do this, but you must be able to play against reputation pitchers, play against heavy favorites - at times - if you want to be profitable. As I said, please go thru last year's thread and look at the number of nice priced dogs we play and hit.

I mentioned bankroll management. The amount you will play on each game is 2% of bankroll.  If you have a $1000 bankroll you will play $20/game. You need a $5,000 bankroll to play $100/game. Bankroll management is without a doubt the NUMBER 1 reason people fail. It gets you through rough stretches, it allows you to play the volume of games we play. A $50/gm player should have a $2500 bankroll.

This year I will have 2 sets of plays, something I am doing for the first time.

1) TOP PLAYS: I have targeted a specific set of angles that I will designate as Top Plays. If you aren't comfortable playing a high volume of plays, this is for you.  These situations have shown to be profitable every year, and hopefully that will continue.  I have had angles that have had many years of winning, only to have a down year so in no way am I saying these are 100% guaranteed winners.  What I am saying is that over the past 7 years each angle has shown a profit every year.

2) REGULAR PLAYS: These are every angle that hasn't been designated a Top Play.  These are solid plays and should NOT be looked at as inferior. They may have had a losing year last year or sometime within the last 7 years. But overall they are profitable and well worth your time.

Some of my plays are dependent on lines, and games will appear as plays later in the day as lines move. I will post most of my plays very early so you can get the best possible price. Some of my totals are based on umpires, which are announced later in the day for series game 1. These plays will usually be posted an hour before game time. The vast majority of my plays will be listed early in the day. I would check back 30 minutes before the 1st pitch of a game to see if I have added any plays.

If you follow my advice, you will have a winning baseball season. You will have a lot of fun playing dogs, at times high priced dogs, and winning with them. The NUMBER 1 reason people lose at baseball is that they play too many favorites. You just can't do it. I'm not saying we won't play favorites, we certainly will. But we will target situations where it makes sense to do so.

Last thing. Baseball can be VERY streaky, another reason I stress bankroll management. There will be huge winning days, and some days will be awful. When we get a really bad day, just like we do with basketball, its important to not panic. Do not stop playing, size down wagers, etc...  Make the SAME wagers EVERY day. We will come out on top at the end of the season. Remember its the overall record that counts not 1 day.

If you have any questions about anything, please ask. You can leave it in the comments section below, or you are always welcome to send an email.

This Week: 15-8 (+6.6)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We started the week 0-4, and I could just sense people jumping ship. My view numbers proved that.  I still had a lot of views but not as many as the past few days. As I have said over.....and over........and over.......when I have a crappy day I often follow it up with a very good day or days. My historical numbers will bear that out.

Tuesday was an excellent 5-2 with a +140 included, and last night was perhaps the best night of the NBA season.  An amazing 10-2 night, 9-3 if you waited too long to play the GS/SA Under. A combined 52+ units of basketball profits this year, done with 1 unit plays. Not 4* or 5* or 10*. ONE unit at a time. I challenge anyone out there to find me ONE service, ONE thread that has produced those types of numbers.

Over the last 9 days the NBA has picked up 19+ units.

I don't give you 5* Plays of the Year, Games of the Month. I saw someone promote a 500* play. Wow, that must be some awesome stuff right there. Some have "Vegas" Sources, others have "Inside Information". Insider plays. How about a VIP Play??  Blue Ribbon or VIP Lock anyone?? Wiseguy Insider??

What do they all have in common?  They are all massive piles of Bullshit, and its really insulting. It must work, I guess there are some people out there that are so desperate that they fall for that type of marketing crap. So you may ask........."Biz, why do you give a shit??"

I'll tell you why.  Its because there are no shortcuts, there are no super secret plays or inside information (If there was they wouldn't sell it for 5 bucks). I have spent literally hundreds of hours researching my situational plays, refining them, updating them to make sure they are still relevant. It takes a LOT of work. So when I see Insider, Vegas sources, wiseguy, or the word that really pisses me off (LOCK), etc.....it just really irritates me because I know from first hand experience that hard work is the only way to be successful.

Rant is over.  BTW, I haven't mentioned the Donate button lately. If anyone would like to send something my way it would be very much appreciated. My site is one of the best you will find anywhere for winning game picks, analysis, and commentary. There isn't a service on the Site Promotions forum that has put up the record that I have, and I don't charge you anything up front. My goal is to have you profit first, then show me your thanks by sending me a gratuity for a job well done. I feel that is a very fair way to conduct business. My record is 100% documented, something you can't say for most every single service on the forum.

A very light night in the NBA, I'll post in the morning after  all lines are out.

11:30AM UPDATE:
                                         NBA
Cleveland/Chicago UNDER 211.5: (20-5, 5-2)

If Houston is favored they are a play, currently +1. The line has flipped back and forth. I'm keeping it as an official NO PLAY, but if you want to play the game make sure Houston is favored.

I will have a post about the baseball season up in a  day or 2. Please make sure you read it, as it details everything you need to know about the upcoming season and how to go about playing the games.

Have a great day and good luck with your action.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As is often the case, a poor day was followed by a very good one. I was THIS close to making the Dubs UNDER a 2U play but kept it at 1U.  Miami blew a solid 4Q lead, and the Min/Ind UNDER never had a chance. 5-2 with a solid +140 (closed at +160) dog winner.

I will most likely have add ons in the morning, there are a few games with no lines.  This is what I have so far:
