---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is the second awful week in a row. The Angels blow up one inning for the loss, you will not hit an under when one guy slams 3 HRs.....thank you Matt Kemp, and Miami wasn't going to score if they played 18 innings.

Which brings me to the Phillies. Its around 10 minutes before game time, too late to give out any more plays......as if you guys wanted them anyway. I thought the Philly line was just ridiculous given the pitching matchup. They went off at +210. So I make the bet and my wife and I are off to see a comedy show. I turn off my phone and its 3-1 Phillies.  We leave the show, I check  my phone to see a 6-5 Dodger win. OK, what happened. Back to Back to Back Jacks to tie it and then a dribbler off the 3rd baseman's glove for the final kick to the nuts to end just a gawd awful day. What an absolute shitshow these past 2 weeks have been.

Thankfully we have some NBA today.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The NBA continues to do well this week, hitting 2 out of 3. Folks I also had a play on Boston and didn't put it on Twitter.  I'm having lunch with my wife after our spa day, I'm checking my phone, she tells me to put the damn thing away. I saw that Boston went to -3 which triggered a play at that price. I lost track of time and bleeped up. My apologies. Even with that we had a nice NBA day.

Which brings me to baseball. Washington teased us, loading the bases in the 9th inning with zero outs down 7-5. Strikeout and a game ending 1-2-3 DP by Harper killed that rally. We deserved to lose it, but a comeback win would have been nice.

Milwaukee. Boy do I have words for you guys. 4-0 lead early, 8-4 mid game and your bullpen just sprays gasoline all over the place to lose the game outright. That was the biggest decision we had, a 4.65 unit swing. Get that home and we have a winning day. Tough one.

Houston came through as a 2U play, really liked that one.  Cincinnati a late rally but not enough. I gave out the Under play 20 minutes before first pitch on Twitter.  It was an umpire play, and when its the FGS (First Game Series) assignments aren't announced until an hour before game time. On Mondays and Fridays, the 2 main days when series start, I would check my Twitter 15 minutes or so before game time. I'll get them out asap when I get them.  They are usually very good plays and I want you all to be able to play them.

Lets not sugarcoat things, baseball shows a lot of red in the record. Down 9 units so far, with some tough beats in there. Folks believe me, the bounces will go our way and we will have a good season. Bear with me. The same thing happened last year, slow start and then it really picked up.  I have no idea why these last 2 years have been slow starts, it just is.

I'm writing this at 2:30am, I'll post plays in the morning. Looks like a baseball only day.

                                   MLB - TOP PLAY
Los Angeles Angels +144

                                   MLB - REG PLAY
Miami (-1.5) +172
Atlanta/Milwaukee UNDER 9
Los Angeles Angels +144 (+137 Min)
Philadelphia/Loa Angeles Dodgers UNDER 8 (8 or More)

LAA is a 2U play if the line is at least 137. 2 angles triggered, 1 Regular and 1 Top.

I had a play on the Balt/NYY Under but it just started. Sorry guys, Vegas is tough to get up early the next day.

Have a Great Day and Good Luck with your action.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The NBA is on a nice run right now, hitting another 2U play with the Under last night in Milwaukee. After the first 8 minutes when they scored 40 points, the game got back to normal and played exactly how I thought it would. A grinder of a game 6 and never really in doubt by halftime.

The MLB on the other hand is scuffling a bit. Sale pitched his ass off, but Tanaka did him one better. We will hit plenty of games this year with that angle but last night we took a hit.

The Under play was never in doubt.....until the Giants started playing like a bunch of little leaguers in extra innings, throwing to the wrong base, walking batter after batter. A no doubt win turned into a major sweat, but we got the win. SD lost as JD threw gopher balls and the SD offense didn't do much.

So a losing day heading into the weekend, down bout 4 units. Nice card today and the baseball is due to turn around. Its a long season.  NBA is on a nice run.

                                        NBA
Washington +3
Washington/Atlanta UNDER 210
Los Angeles Clippers +5.5

                                 MLB - TOP PLAY

                                 MLB - REG PLAY
Houston (-1.5) +142 (2U)
Cincinnati +133

The Top Plays fit the same situation, playing on teams that have scored a lot lately.  Houston has 2 angles trigger, good team off a road trip. Cincinnati a dog that just blasted a bunch of HRs in a losing effort.

I'll update later. Have a Great Day and Good Luck with your action.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tough beat on the Wizards side play, they had a spread lead often but some late buckets beat us.  The Under was a nice win. The late game saw that total hit 205.5 right before game time. I hope you guys waited on that line, I was waiting on it and almost forgot to play it. Got a bet in just before tip and got extremely lucky with the 205.5.  I'll grade it as a loss. So a 1-2 NBA night.

                                     NBA
Toronto/Milwaukee UNDER 195 (2U IF Milwaukee is favored, currently -1.5)

                               MLB - TOP PLAY
Boston -174 (2U)
Boston (-1.5) +127
Los Angeles/San Francisco UNDER 7.5 (Pass at 7)

                               MLB - REG PLAY
San Diego +156

I have conflicting stuff on the NBA side so its a pass, but I think Toronto ends it tonight.  They are just a better team and I can't see this going seven games. Officially its a pass, but if you need a side wager I would play Toronto. The Under is solid and is a 2U as long as Milwaukee stays favored.  Currently -1.5.

Boston fits a very strong situation that wins at 85% of the time with the RL hitting 67%. Its a hefty price, but the historical data shows its still a very good play. We will make the ML a 2U play and keep the RL at 1U.

The LA/SF Under play must be 7.5 or its a pass. Its another very strong play, hitting its last 9, and 16 of 18.  The only thing keeping me from making it a 2U is its a day game in SF which gets better scoring than a night game, and the fact these teams are due to score a bit more than they have.  We will go 1U UNDER 7.5.

Finally we have the Padres coming off a very nice win late, rallying in the 9th for the win. This triggers a nice play on a team trailing late and coming back for the win. Its a dog play the following day, and another angle was triggered with it being a 9th inning rally.  Now usually with my baseball every angle triggered gets a unit. But Jared Weaver is on the hill for San Diego, and there is no way in hell I will ever put more than 1 unit on that guy. But we have 2 plays that triggered, so JD gets our money today. 1U San Diego as I hold my nose as I make this play.

Ok folks, some nice baseball tonight and a solid NBA total.  I am off to Las Vegas tonight for the weekend, anniversary trip with my wife. I should have everything ready early each day this weekend, not much time later in the day. Please check Twitter for updates and other info.

Have a Great Day and as always, Good Luck with your action.

Wednesday April 26 2017 - GAME PICKS/ Tuesday 4/25 RECAP

NBA
Oklahoma City/Houston UNDER 223.5
San Antonio -10 (2U)

                                  MLB - TOP PLAYS
Chicago Cubs -126

                                   MLB -REG PLAYS
Cleveland +104 (DOG ONLY)
Minnesota/Texas OVER 9.5
St Louis (-1.5) +150
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We hit another 2U winner in the NBA, San Antonio was just a spectacular play.  They had a ton of angles working for them and pulled away late.  The UNDER was never in doubt, as I mentioned they have played a lot of Under or very close to it.  So a nice night in the NBA.

The baseball was frustrating. Cubs win a nail biter, and Cleveland just couldn't get a key hit. St Louis squandered a bases loaded early in the game with a DP and did the same thing later.  Minnesota is up 8-1 after 5 innings, we just need one run over the last 4 innings. Nada, and the Top of the 8th we had 1/3 with one out.  You guessed it....DP. That was a very tough beat.

So a 1-3 MLB and a 3U win in the NBA makes for a winning night. Here is what I have for Wednesday:

                                     NBA
Washington -6
Atlanta/Washington UNDER 212.5
Chicago/Boston UNDER 202

No baseball today.  Baseball ramps up after April, many more situations that pop up. I'll update the record when I get a chance. Let's go with these 3 NBA games today.

Have a Great Day and Good Luck with your action.

Tuesday, April 25 2017 - GAME PICKS/ Monday 4/24 RECAP

NBA
Toronto 1H -3
Toronto -6
Milwaukee/Toronto OVER 192 (2U)
Golden St/Portland UNDER 219.5

                                 MLB - REG PLAY
Texas (-1.5) +156
Toronto/LA Angels OVER 7.5 (Twitter Play)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A very solid NBA night, with the 2U total winning with ease. Once KD was announced as playing I hated that Under but I already put the play out.

Texas up 2-0 and they walk a .100 hitter to load the bases. Brian Dozier - a stud - clears the bases with a 2 out double. 3-2 final.  When you only score 2 runs you will rarely win a RL, but I hate watching pitchers walk poor hitters to load the bases. Throw strikes. I added a play on Twitter....hopefully you all missed it.......that lost. Lots of blown chances and it was never close to the number.

Ok, a nice winning night, here is what I have today.

                                         NBA
Oklahoma City/Houston UNDER 223.5
San Antonio -10 (2U)

Wait on the total, it may keep rising. It has gone up and may keep going. These guys have played UNDER or just gone over all series.   I'm making SA a 2U play, they have a ton of angles working in their favor tonight, including one that was on Toronto last night. Toronto should have been a 2U last night but I dropped the ball. They had some great angles and blew out Milwaukee. SA has a few more angles tonight so lets give them a 2U play.

                                  MLB - TOP PLAYS
Chicago Cubs -126

                                   MLB -REG PLAYS
Cleveland +104 (DOG ONLY)
Minnesota/Texas OVER 9.5
St Louis (-1.5) +150

Cleveland a good team as a HD vs a very good team. 0-2 TY its due for a win, one of the losses was the TB blown save Sunday. The OVER an umpire play, and St Louis a play on a good team coming home after a road trip.  Cubbies a road team off a blowout win playing the same team.

Ok folks we have some nice action tonight. Have a great day and Good Luck with your action. The plays a little late today, I made a comment on my forum thread.  I will start updating everything on my Twitter page. Please bookmark it and check it. Its the easiest place to give updates and added plays.

This Week: 24-36 (-10.77)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Good news.  The week is over. Man, that was a rough one. The baseball wasn't really that bad, going 14-18 losing 1.22 units.  Far from awful. The NBA playoffs continue to struggle going 7-13 losing around 8 units. Overs go Under, Unders go Over.

Yesterday was looking good, then we get a blown save from TB in the 9th inning and they lose in extras. A 2U swing, combined with the 9th inning blown RL with Philly Friday that was a nearly 5 unit swing with those 2 blown saves. Give us just one of those and we have a winning baseball week. San Diego was sailing along and then Boom, Miami explodes for a 7-3 win, a disappointing way to end the baseball day.

How about those Chicago White Sox cashing at a juicy +182. A really good spot where they were massively under valued. Again, Cleveland and the Cubs are way over valued early in the season coming off a World Series appearance. I mentioned before the year we will target spots for big dogs that make sense, and we have hit a few nice ones already this year. That game was worth nearly 2 wins when you consider the price.

OK folks, its time to put that behind us. Baseball shows a small profit so far, and with a little luck would be doing great. I say that not to make excuses, but to illustrate that the baseball will be just fine. I know some will look at it and say, its up just a unit and change.  Well, some people are getting crushed already. Its a long year and we are just getting started.

Light night on the diamond tonight, and a little NBA that just has to get better. Very frustrating to have the fantastic regular season and such a poor playoffs. But we have plenty of time to turn that around.

                                     NBA
Toronto 1H -3
Toronto -6
Milwaukee/Toronto OVER 192 (2U)
Golden St/Portland UNDER 219.5

                                 MLB - REG PLAY
Texas (-1.5) +156 (ML price must be at least -130 or higher)

The Mil/Tor total has a referee that is a solid Over referee and also several Over angles that triggered. They did play to an Over in Toronto, so despite the lack of scoring in Milwaukee we will play the Over and get a bit of line value as 192 is pretty low.

Texas is our lone baseball play tonight, and it is a RL play. Monitor that line and play only if the line stays at -130 or above. That is the baseline for profitability, games that are below that line have shown to not perform at a profitable level.

Also, make sure you subscribe to my Twitter feed, from time to time I will post updates or a 2H play.

Ok folks we have 4 NBA plays with a 2U total and 1 MLB game. Have a Great Day and Good Luck with your action.

I did like the Under, but the line is now 186 from an open of 191 and it was 187.5 early this am. Lots of value sucked out of that line so just staying with the side.

Very tough loss on the -1.5 line with Philadelphia. They gave up a HR in the 9th to cost is the +180 win, that was nearly a 3U swing.  Mets blew a few chances late and lost in extras. Again, full recap later.

I do like Montreal tonight as a small Road Favorite against NY Rangers. I have a nice angle play on them, and NY does struggle at home a bit. Good spot for the Canadiens to force a Gm 7 in what has been a fantastic series.

Folks that should do it. One last thing, I am going to start commenting via my Twitter feed during games and at halftime if I see a 2H play that looks good. Cleveland 2H was an outstanding play the other night down 24 at half. The 2H Under on the last 2 Hou/OKC games solid plays too. Huge scoring 1H often tend to slow down in the 2H.
