Needless to say, a very disappointing Tuesday. We took some absolutely brutal losses today. Let's start with the Association.
Toronto blew several DD leads, and missed 2 huge FTs down the stretch as they missed the cover by a point or 2 depending on your line. The Over was never really in doubt. Boston looked awful again, they are being completely outplayed by the Bulls. Which brings me to the Clippers. I really don't like this team, both from a fan standpoint and a betting standpoint. They were up 9 at the half, and it never really felt like they were in control of the game. I actually bought out of it and took Utah +2.5 for the 2H, creating a small middle opportunity. They end up winning by 8 and losing the cover by a 1/2 point. Tough night for basketball.
The baseball was even worse. Milwaukee opens up a 6-2 lead but couldn't hold it as they lost 9-7. NY never was going to cover the RL, while Pittsburgh outhit St Louis 11-4 while blowing one scoring opportunity after another. Two very tough losses. I posted the Red Sox on Twitter over an hour before game time. I've mentioned that if I have something after I post here I will put it out on Twitter. I would suggest checking from time to time to see if I have anything. Boston actually closed around +160 for a nice winner.
So a rough night that still leaves us with a profit after two days. Its one of those nights where despite losing you feel like you had the right side in several losses but just couldn't catch a break. I'll have plays up in the morning.
