The Cubs bullpen is not good. 6-2 lead and several blown opportunities, our only play lost. We should start to have more baseball very soon. Its right at break even, nothing to be alarmed over. We will have plenty of baseball going forward and it should be good.
The NBA went 3-4, with just a brutal loss on the San Antonio Under. 5 points in the last 19 second, including an offensive rebound and 3 pointer at the gun beating us. The Spurs handled their business, and were a great 2H play for those of you that thought about it. Up 3 at the half and laying 5 for the 2H was great value. Cleveland got us the 1H winner but for whatever reason these guys just lets teams hang around. Another split out.
Toronto looked awful, and I'm preparing you now they will probably be a play in Gm 2. The 1H under gave us a split at least.
Which leaves the Clippers. As a long time Warriors fan, I've seen these guys play a ton and I have to say that this is a tired act. They really need to blow that thing up, it just isn't working. A loss to end the evening and put the NBA 1 game under.
Ok, so not a great day. Nothing disastrous. We are basically break even for the week, meaning Sunday will determine our weekly fate. Yes, I love to state the obvious. We are due for a good Sunday, the last 2 have been straight garbage. I'll have the day's card up early Sunday morning.
