---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Folks please bear with me on these morning posts. Its a real grind to get the work done, get home from my job at 1:30am, and do recaps and get the plays ready for the next day. But I will get them out before any games are played. I appreciate your patience.

Well we grinded out close to a unit profit, thanks to that big dog winner on Atlanta. I wasn't too disappointed in the baseball last night. Toronto had their chances, but squandered a couple nice scoring chances. Miami took a lead early but the Nats woke up, took a 6-2 lead and held on for a 6-4 win

We had 2 extra inning games last night, and whenever a game goes into extras I love having the dog. Think about it, the lines are based primarily on the starters. Degrom for NY was the reason that line was +190. Once its a bullpen game do you think the live bet was +190? Not even close. Atlanta also blew several chances before winning it in 12. Boston also in extras but their bats are really sleepy right now. Still, another nice dog in extras that couldn't get a win.

A solid NBA night, as the 3 winners were never really in doubt. We went 4-4 overall and still won money. That is what I love about getting odds, break even and instead of losing juice we earn a profit.

Playing dogs isn't easy, especially when you are going against a really good pitcher. However, good pitchers lose and its knowing when to play against these high priced favorites that is key. Sure, they will beat us. But when we beat them we are rewarded and don't need anywhere close to beating them as much to be successful. Last nights Braves/Mets game an example. We went 1-3  but had a chance at a 2-2 and picking up close to a unit and a half in profit if we split them.

Here is what I have right now and it looks like a final list.

                                           NBA
Chicago -5: (52-23, 3-2)
Washington -5.5: (76-34, 3-5) (60-26, 2-3)
Atlanta +1.5: (24-12, 12-4)
Orlando -2: (14-5, 2-0)
Brooklyn/Orlando UNDER 223.5: (40-18, 10-7)

                                   MLB - TOP PLAYS
Miami +147

Miami has been a nice dog angle that is struggling a bit so far this year. Looks like the only game in MLB today. 5 in the NBA making it 6 games combined. Baseball around break even so far, basketball continues to be solid. We have a nice profit for the week so lets use that house money to have another winning day. Good luck with your action and have a Great Day.
