---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So the week is over and its time to recap. Folks I had a busy weekend with BBQs, Father's Day stuff, and a Baptism tossed in for good measure. So lets take it one day at a time.Friday Baseball went 5-3, and very well could have gone 7-1 if we could get a bullpen to cooperate. Pittsburgh blows a save in the 9th while San Diego - perhaps my favorite play of the day - coughs one up in the 8th and lose in extras. Get those and thats a 4.48 unit swing. Ouch. Nevertheless we picked up 2+ units Friday night while we pushed the WNBA game. That was a tough one as they had a big lead and ended up pushing.
Saturday wasn't good, 3-6 but I did warn you about 2 of them. SF and StL had pitchers I did not like at all, and while I post every play that pops up I did say that it was tough to take those guys. Both lost and Wainwright got lit up. Take those out and you dropped about .8 of a unit. Detroit lost a tough one, The Oakland Over had 7 by the 4th inning and the last 5 innings both teams scored Nada.
On to Sunday and a 2-3 day. The Dodgers blow a 8-1 lead and can't get us the RL win. The CWS/Tor Under was 3-1 after 5 but we lose by a half as the Bluejays score 3 in the B7 to beat us narrowly. The Cubs OVER came up a run short. Some very close losses that were very frustrating. In my haste to get the plays out I didn't post Boston or Oakland. Those were the plays I track manually, and I mentioned them in Saturday's post. Houston's 10 game stretch ended Sunday and the Yankees will be faded over the next 6 games. They are currently 0-4 to start their 10 gm fade stretch. Houston went 4-6.
Looks like a break even week, some of you picked up a couple units if you passed those plays I suggested Saturday. Still down right around 10 units on the season, while the WNBA is showing a small profit. Thank goodness for Beaver Ball as a buddy of mine calls it.
I hope you all had a great weekend, it was damn hot here in the East Bay but I had a rare Sunday off and enjoyed it. I'll be back later this afternoon with the Monday plays.
