First of all, my apologies for getting this out late. I'm still dealing with a nasty cough and head cold, and I fell asleep watching a movie last night. Went right to bed.
Another split day, and for those that played the Iowa St/Purdue OVER a little later and got 155, an absolutely brutal loss. They scored a lot over the last minute, and as has often been the case fouling, FTS, and extra possessions did us in.
As for the fouls being called, I would have to say that these officials really need to take a step back and just let these dudes play. Seriously, stay the fuck out of the way. You can't breathe on a guy without some fool blowing the whistle. And as for blown calls?? Don't get me started, that play with the Gonzaga player sticking his hand through the rim and no call..........and then you T up the coach for letting you know? Completely changed the game. I could go on, but whats the point?
A couple flat days, nothing alarming. NBA bounced back as it usually does after a miserable day (BTW, when Lebron doesn't play just fade them. They usually get crushed). NCAA a little disappointing so far, but still a small profit. So despite running in place, despite a pitiful NBA Friday, despite a relatively flat tournament so far.......we are up 4.73 units. Nothing wrong with that. One more day, lets finish strong and get out of this 7 day cycle with another profitable week.
NCAA
