Whenever I have a bad day, chances are that the next day will be good. Today wasn't good, it was spectacular. When New York hit a 3 run walk off for the -1.5 cover, I knew it would be a very good day.
The 2U plays have been fantastic, and I hope all of you are playing them for more than a regular play. They are my very best plays, and have really helped the bankroll. The MLB 2U plays went 4-1, as the Top Plays went 7-1 today. Most of them were pretty comfortable wins, with the Chi Sox and the aforementioned NYY game giving us a sweat. Reg MLB went 2-1-1 with a tough beat on the SF Under, losing it with 2 out in the B9. Hey, we caught a few breaks too today so no complaints.
The WNBA featured one of the tougher beats of the season. Washington was one of my favorite plays on the entire board, and when they were up by 20 at one point and 15 at the half I thought we had a nice 2U winner. Still up by 8 entering the 4Q in a very high scoring game - our Over play was never in doubt - they score 11 in the 4Q to lose by 4.
The early CFL game started off rough as Toronto trailed 12-1 at half. At least the Under should be no problem.....right? Well, its the CFL where anything can happen. Lots of 2H points and we needed a late Toronto defensive stand to get the 1 pt victory and Under.......barely. A solid 3U pick up which was nice after the Washington debacle. Hamilton tried to make it a game but it was apparent that they weren't gonna win so a solid 1.4 unit win in the CFL.
I believe we picked up over 11 units today to put us in great position for another solid winning week. All plays show a profit of 8+ units which is phenomenal. Folks we are on a crazy hot streak right now so enjoy it, 20+ units last week and 8+ this week. Since early May when we were down 30+ units in MLB, we have picked up over 40 units......in 2 months. It happened last year and its happening again, and I don't see any reason why we should not continue to be profitable.
"........The MLB has been a major disappointment, but we have plenty of time to right the ship. Sunday was a very good day, and the record was 21-14 (+9.58) for the week on plays posted on the Blog and Twitter. That is more like it and I see no reason that can't continue.
If you look at my results from last year, you will see that on June 4 I was down around 34 Units. Then all of a sudden we caught fire. Over the next 4 months we picked up almost 60 units. Instead of losing games late, like Oakland did us again on Friday, the breaks started to even out. This season has started out in similar fashion, losing tough games and starting out on a cold streak.
Sometimes you start out fast, hit a few bumps along the way, go through some flat spots where you break even over a period of time, and finish with a nice profit. Sometimes your hot streak happens in the middle of the season, sometimes it hits later........and sometimes your season starts off like crap and you have to dig your way out of a hole.
I believe in what I do, and if I didn't then I would have quit last June 4 and missed out on 60 units of profit over the last 4 months. I told you folks that we were going to have a winning baseball season. Right now its anything but. However, there is so much baseball left that we will turn this thing around. I'm confident we can build on this very good week. Winning is easy, losing streaks test you. I've gone from over 100 views a day to a little more than half that. I can't blame those for jumping ship, but I know there are many of you that visit daily and know what I can do. I appreciate your continued support, whether you play all of the games, some of them, or just lurk. Today I gave a major push on the Under in St Louis, if you picked one game to play today that would have been the one. I'll continue to point out plays like that, giving you the pertinent data to make the best decision possible....."
